BACK from chalet!

So much stuff to post abt. Where shld i start?

Urm to describe 101'07 class chalet in brief words, i'll just say it ROCKED!

Haven't posted longlong posts for a long time, guess i'll just for the sake of our wonderful memories together these times as 101.

Sun 28.10.07:

Slept at 2am. Woke up at 7+am to pack my stuff, eat breakfast. Went to Simei MRT stationt to meet the others who were late. Emily came first, followed by LinSha,Nut,JingYi&MeiZhen. After buying our drinks we went to the NTUC at East Point to buy stuff for chalet. They were calling me MUMMY all the way. Do i even look THAT old to have 13-yr-old children?!

Took MRT to Tanah Merah to meet up with the rest of the class. Nearly missed the train x) i thought for a moment LinSha was going to get stuck.

When at least 2/3 of 101 is together, we're like FIRE HAZARD! lol

WE MISSED THE SHUTTLE BUS. Actually we were right on time 1.30pm. ): So instead, we took TAXIs. Clarification: The taxi ride $$$ came from the BBQ fund, NOT class funds(: There were abt 19 of us so 5 taxis:D Took with YiJing, MeiZhen& Jezie. Our taxi driver didnt know where SAFRA was though, had to tell him the exact add but our ride was the cheapest $5.40. The rest was from $5.40 to $6.10.

We arrived exactly at 2pm and after MingZhen went to check in, we found our bungalow-no. 31:D It's double-storeyed with 2 rooms, 2 toilets, a kitchen and so on, quite nice :)

Unpacked our stuff and the food before changing into my class tee. Went with a big no. of ppl to Changi beach after they had fun in the baby pool. Played in the waters [The beach looked pretty emo] and we built this sandcastle:D Wasnt able to take pics cos i didnt bring my cam along. Oh ya, when i stood in the water along, a mini teeny crabbie was washed on to my feet. Kind of itchily pain x(

Went back chalet around 4pm bcos IT STARTED RAINING! D: Had been praying for a fine weather on our BBQ but it really rained, just as the weather forecast had predicted.

Back at chalet, watched ppl play Monopoly before playing card games with a few ppl. TAITI:D Then the delivery guy from BBQWHOLESALE arrived so went upstairs to get the money to pay him.

We faced a critical situation: it's raining, the bbq pit isnt sheltered, we dont have lighter to start the fire, WE ARE ALL INEXPERIENCED! Not to mention the fact that we're just girls alone at chalet without adults or guys to do this kind of stuff. AND, we faced another problem: shortage of drinks but which was solved because yingxin bought 6 bottles of drinks to chalet.



In the end, JingYi&i went to the chalet next door to borrow a lighter. Some of us held umbrellas over the bbq pit while the others tried to start the fire or keep on fanning using scraps of paper or paper plates. It's really really hard work starting the fire, we took like 1h, SERIOUSLY. But nevertheless, we managed to do it in the end !!



Yes, so overall class BBQ was a success! Credits go to: JingWen, JinYi, WeiQing(for standing by the bbq pit for more than 3h, getting ur face all black), MingZhen, Jessy, YiJing, Nut, SuAn, Susanna, Dorothy, Grace, YiJun, Sammy, Lisa[Lee], YuXin, JingYi, Eunice, ShaoLe[in random order] for your help. yay we did it without adults or guys WHICH REALLY IS AN ACHIEVEMENT. It's so nice to see our class bonded at times like this and really, 辛苦你们了.



When all the food has been cooked, it was time for MARSHMALLOWS! The nicest part of BBQ. We were standing around the pit, roasting our marshmallows and got all silly, singing "My Bonnie lies over the ocean", "Old MacDonald had a Farm" and etc. Super heartwarming moment(:



Went to the public shower to bath along with Eu, JingYi&JingTing. Funny thing that happened: The lock of the cubicle which i went in was perfectly fine and working but the ones the others took were all not. So i was the first one to finish bathing and went to check the cubicle next to Eu's and the lock was perfectly fine too. So, when the three of them finished bathing, i went to check their locks which tru enough, were spoilt. But it's like so weird that all three of them happened to choose cubicles with spoilt locks when the ones beside those are working.



Anws, the public showers are damn nice can. There' shampoo and soap inside the cubicles, the taps are the automatic kinds, the locker room has got air-con, there're hairdryers which can be used and the temperature of water can be adjusted. Damn shiok to bath there lorh so we recommended to others when we returned.

Hello the old Xiaohan, this is me posting on 290908. Even though EOYs are like 9days away, I suddenly feel like posting cos I miss chalet lots. Love 201 xoxo.

Well after bathing basically I boiled lots and lots and lots of water[I've no idea why 201 drinks so much] and washed the kitchen and stuff before settling down for movie with the rest. If I remember correctly, we watched Geisha first. Kinda boring cos its PG13. Followed by the something of Emily Rose. Creeps man. Until today I can still remember this movie. Then we watched Spirited Away yay and people started falling asleep. A group of people then went out for a midnight walk. By the time they came back it was around 3am. And the phone rang, stupid freaked us out. Most people had fallen asleep so we went to the other bedroom upstairs to play cards. Played played, midnight walk group of people came back and they were followed by security guard so pretended to be asleep. Then people slept in the other bedroom too so in the end people still awake went to sit in the toilet cos we kena chased out._. Played cheat, taiti and etc. Then this group of people went to sleep too. By then it was alr like 5plus in the morning. I was the onlyone awake and didnt sleep yay me:D:D:D Went down kitchen to boil more water cos we were gonna have milo for breakfast. Felt tired and lied down for like 5min next to Qing before I got up again at 610 or something and prepare breakfast. When it's around 645, I started waking people up. Mingzhen started to prepare breakfast and I went around the chalet waking people up teeheex] And they called me Mummy again._. Made sure everyone ate then cleared up and washed all the cutlery alone. Then yup people started to get crazy again. Went to the beach afterwards with some people and we had morning walk yo. Nicenice and relaxed. Went back chalet, packed up and we left.
Took the shuttle bus back to Tanah Merah and like 16 of us decided to go kBox at Cine. Sang and had lotsa crazy funny fun:] Lunched:] Guess what? I actually fell asleep at kBox cos I was really beat. Somemoe according to them, I was soundly asleep. Woke up when Lisa they all were singing 因为他们在放屁/大便。Can't remember. Super loud can, shocked me. And they sang all the way to the toilet._. More singing then home sweet home.
Hit the pillows once I reached home. Super tired. I remember it took me quite a few days to replenish the sleep I lost during chalet.

I love 201 xoxo No matter how much I suffered as a monitress. It's servant leadership after all, I'm like their maid cum mum at chalet.

Can't wait for chalet dearies.
