POST CHORAL&DRAMA NITE PERFORMANCE!

yay its' sososo fun! Now i know what seniors mean when they say C&D nite will be one of the best memories and times we have at NY. Havent even finish posting abt class chalet and here i am posting abt C&D nite!

Yesterday:

Woke up at 6am. Reached sch abt 8am. Helped YingXin&HuiLing with the flowers which we have to make for 小妖s' dress. Oh ya, thanks to YingXin for spending so much efforts in making those pretty flowers !!:D

Went down to Audi for briefing before rehearsals. 大苹果老师 brought the black long skirts for 小妖 so we started sticking the flowers on. Damn hard to walk in the flowing skirts that reach down to my ankles.

After our turn to rehearse on stage, went for another briefing before going to Jackie's house with Jackie[of course], WeiQing, JinYi, JingWen, Eunice, Nut, JingTing and MingZhen. Jackie's house is BIG, nice and near the sch! Went to this expensive Gelato shop for lunch. Had Chicken spaghetti bolognese and Jackie treated us to chicken wings!

Went back Jackie's hse. Watched Catwomen and played with her hamsters. YingXin, HuiLing&HuiPin came to join us. Our conclusion was: If we live in such a nice hse like Jackie's, we wldn't mind going home every day(or is it everyday?).

Walked (ran, actually) back to sch. Went to LT1[can't rmb if it was LT 1 or LT2](our "make-up" room) to prepare. Everyone went to wash their face first before we went for pre-show briefing at 6pm.

Did make-up for others. I think my anxiety got the better of me cos i was screaming like siao for ppl and make-up. One moment eyeshadow was on the counter, the next moment its gone. And i cldnt find the make-up that 老师 provided. We need that particular blusher because the tone is just right, not too light. x.x

Anws after nearly everyone's makeup was done, i did my own and MingZhen helped me with eyeshadow, mascara and eye liner. We ran out of eyeliner so had to use mascara to substitute and it really really hurt. My eyes were tearing. T.T But thanks MingZhen for the makeup bceause 小妖s looked pretty convincing[I freaked Sammy out!] even though its kind of absurd the amt of makeup we had to put and the pain we had to go through for merely less than a min on stage. But its really fun helping others put makeup though some of u saw the scary side of me when i was angry because i cldnt find the blusher or lipgloss. x)

And another weird thing was, kings and 妖s alike started calling me Mummy. It all started at class chalet and now, im still called that -.- My method of shutting up their mouths was threatening them with more makeup and im pleased to say, it usually works!

Yunxin came and gave us these glow-in-the-dark kind of bracelets which Nut&i wore even on stage as 'tribute' to YunXin. Unigorm came with her but he didnt recognise me. but with the amt of makeup i had on my face, i really looked like an evil devil x)

Patrolled the stalls outside audi during interval and received stares from humans. Felt like staring back to freak them out muahaha i felt evil like my character! 小妖s were supposed to act bitchy anws. Bought a coke from 1/13 which was drank by more than 7 ppl?

101 grp A's performance was soon after the interval. Felt so excited for them. They were simply fabulous, the kings were magnificient and the narrators were great! After their performance, MingZhen pulled me into a makeup room and did my hair for me.

Then we were on.

Everything happened quickly. When it's time for curtain call, everyone was smiling so widely:D Nothing went wrong, it's really niceeeeeeeee and i can tell the audience liked our performance(:(:(:

Grp A was waiting for us at the backstage and we went sort of crazy, hugging here and there. We went back to LT together. Took pics, packed up and washed off our makeup before going back to audi for debrief.

After debrief, we all gathered around HuangLaoShi when we knew she was going to transfer to another school to teach. I think we were all going to cry le. HuangLaoShi has been a terrific teacher, always so patient and nice to all of us. We've made her angry on several occasions but she always forgave us. We'll miss her and Snoopy lots. Before we left, we had a last class hug together with HuangLaoShi. T.T

Walked to the bus stop with JinYi, MeiZhen, XuYue and WeiQing. Said bye and hugged ppl on our way. Emily was alone at the bus stop and she was mummy-ing me again. =.=

Bus-ed and MRT-ed with WeiQing. Reached home abt 11+

So, Choral&Drama nite was a success!
Credits go to our dear 老师 for her guidance these few months, 大苹果老师 for his lessons too and costumes, grp A for their support and hugs AND my grp for all the hardwork we've put in !!
